Which Attorney is Johnny Depp Dating?
Since Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against former wife Amber Heard made headlines, there have been widespread speculations regarding who the actor might be dating; Joelle Rich, his attorney, has most recently been linked with him as being his potential mate.
Rich was present to lend support during his six-week trial against Heard. Though she didn’t represent him directly in court, Rich could often be seen talking with the star outside and hugging Camille Vasquez of his U.S. legal team inside.
Camille Vasquez
Camille Vasquez has remained silent amidst reports that Johnny Depp is dating Camille Vasquez as part of his legal team for his defamation case against former wife Amber Heard, yet made at least two appearances during its six-week trial that saw Depp emerge victorious. However, she did make appearances outside and inside courtroom in May to “show her support” even though she wasn’t officially part of their legal team for this case.
She tells ET she is thankful for this experience because it has taught her much about those living under constant scrutiny, particularly Latina women who may feel vulnerable about themselves or their lives. While she’s thrilled that her cross-examination of Heard went viral, her main aim is to convince other Latina women that they don’t need specific hair or names in order to achieve success – something she hopes to accomplish through her legal practice.
Joelle Rich
Joelle Rich was appointed by Johnny Depp to represent him against The Sun newspaper of England for libel claims they made about Depp as being an accused wife beater. Unfortunately, in 2020 the case ended against Depp with an adverse ruling by The Sun against him.
Rich was not part of Depp’s legal team in Virginia court proceedings against Amber Heard; however, she still showed her support by appearing at some hearings and holding his hand during breaks from proceedings and greeting one of Depp’s attorneys, Camille Vasquez.
Rumors circulated that Rich and Depp were romantically involved, but Vasquez quickly dispelled those rumors. She is married mother of two who knows she would violate professional ethical codes by engaging in romantic relations with Depp as his client, not to mention knowing her law firm would immediately fire her if any brief encounters between Rich and Depp took place.
